2005-06-16 - Games Convention: "Intel Shuttle ESL Arena" on 1,300 square meters
 More than 90 Shuttle XPC Systems, a diverse program, the first gaming-only-cinema worldwide and the newest games squeezed into 1,300 square meters of pure gaming excitement.
Shuttle Computer Handels GmbH, the leading manufacturer of small form factor (SFF) PCs and accessories, Intel, the leading producer of semiconductors, and ESL, the leading European gaming league, present the "Intel Shuttle ESL Arena" (hall 3, booth A40) during the Games Convention in Leipzig. The companies will present a gamers' paradise from the 17th to the 21st of August 2005 on nearly 1,300 square meters.
The newest games will be featured on 90 Shuttle XPC Systems configured with Intel Pentium 4 Extreme Edition CPUs featuring state of the art dual core processors. Shows and competitions between the best gamers worldwide will add to the excitement.
The European Nations Championships (ENC) will be played in the "Intel Shuttle ESL Arena," where the best European egamers will compete with their national teams. Teams from 12 countries will be on the spot and compete in the strategy game Warcraft III, the football game FIFA 2005, as well as Counter-Strike and Unreal Tournament. With a total prize value of €25,000, this is one tournament worth attending.
