Designed with gamers in mind, the Shuttle XP17 TempAR features an integrated handle to make travel from LAN-party to LAN-party as easy as possible. No less important on such trips is the "highlight of the screen:" its covering is a tempered glass panel to protect it from damages and scratches. Moreover mobile gamers need neither big bulky boxes nor heavy monitors. The "lightweight" with only 4.3kg on the scale meets this requirement easily.
But the hardware experts found more to praise. The case was "very robust," once again meeting gamers' needs. Equipment, features and performance are important test criterions. The editors drew special attention to the suitability for gaming of each model as well. With a response time of 8ms (grey to grey) the editors explain the Shuttle XP17 TempAR "fit for games without restrictions." Apart from the common VGA connector the Shuttle XP17 TempAR features a digital DVI-out that helped it to achieve a perfect score of 1.0 for image sharpness. In the end the Shuttle XP17 TempAR prevailed against its 17-inch rival with a strong lead, finished the test second overall with an impressive 1.96.
Conclusion: "Fit for most games without restrictions"
