Much action with Shuttle in France: big LAN parties make gamers' hearts beat faster

Only four months to go until we kiss this year goodbye. But these are packed with numerous events. Shuttle is welcoming gamers at different LAN parties in France until the end of the year. Shuttle is present with latest XPCs loaded with powerful hardware guaranteeing a fluent gaming experience. As a very special highlight one brand new and shiny Shuttle XPC Barebone is up for grabs at each of the three LAN parties. So it's not unlikely a number of visitors will go home with more than one PC.

The PXL-LAN 12 being the first event kicks off on August 31st. The three-day LAN party with more than 400 participants takes place in the city of Arles located in the Provence region, Southern France. The games on the agenda are Counter-Strike 1.6 and CS-Source. Sure participants will also play their matches in MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Play Game) World of Warcraft.

The next event is Cyber Azerty taking place just a few weeks later in the city of Pau from November 2nd to 4th 2007 welcoming about 500 gaming fans which will play thrilling matches in Counter-Strike, Warcraft III, Unreal Tournament and Battlefield. Besides, the organizers have a lot more to offer: Competitions in tuning, coding, flash animation, and 3D development with 3D Max.

In cozy Christmas atmosphere around 500 gamers will come together at PING-ARENA 10 to be held in the city of Tournefeuille from December 21st to December 23rd. Since PING-ARENA 8 is taking place these days, the games to be played at PING-ARENA 10 have not been announced yet. Good old classics such as Counter-Strike, Warcraft III and Quake 4 are likely to be on the schedule.

The year 2007 will end in France with lots of gaming power in mini PC format and be prepared: There will certainly be more events coming up in 2008.
