The patent that preserves your nerves

High performance computers generate a lot of heat, and so to ensure that the components don't get too hot, the heat needs to be expelled from the chassis. The typical method uses a lot of air. The typical result is the loud noise of the fan, which can get on your nerves.

At Shuttle we have thought a lot about this problem.

And we have found a better solution: I.C.E. Heatpipe technology. Instead of loud air blowing through the computer, we lead the heat via pipes to cooling fins on the outside of the casing. There a whisper-quiet fan blows the warm air away.

DThe result: the Shuttle XPC is one of the quietest computers in the world.
