Hardware Magazine: Shuttle XPC mini X 100, "a masterpiece of jewellery"
 Most of Hardware Magazine's articles are a helping hand to upgrade PC equipment, are group tests and serve to make new technologies understandable. Of course, they couldn't resist to have a peak on the smallest small form factor PC from Shuttle, the Shuttle XPC mini X 100HA and two of its competitors.

"A gaming rig that fits in a shoe box, you want one? These tiny dimensions house a 3.5 inch hard disk and the ATI Radeon X1400 Mobility graphics engine. This box is barely more than 5 cm tall which is unbelievable, so that the design can be considered as another success for Shuttle. That said, it's also very quiet and over the top regarding 3D graphics performance compared to its competitors."
The Shuttle XPC mini X 100H is equipped with "a SATA 3.5" 200GB hard disk, which can easily be improved if you choose. (...) In terms of connectors the Shuttle XPC mini X 100 is really generous. On the front there is one USB port, and there are four others on the rear. Moreover, there is also Gigabit LAN, a S-Video and DVI output and the standard SPDIF optical audio output as well as FireWire port available.
The integrated 4-in-1 card reader complete the package. The built-in W-LAN grants you the best connectivity," writes Hardware Magazine. "According to us, its higher price is justified and we like it a lot more than the two other SFF PCs in terms of performances and features," state the editors. Conclusion:
"Powerful and ultra-compact, the Shuttle XPC mini X 100 is a very attractive machine. It is much more discrete as conventional PCs. Great performance and its small size are added to a design that is feast for the eye."
