Lo Shuttle XPC Barebone SD36G5M è basato sul design-successo del chassis tipo G5, il quale anche dispone di un display. Il Mini-PC è la base per un computer che convincerà a tutti attraverso un design attraente che funziona come un bene di consumo elettronico. Lo SD36G5M è fornito con un chipset Intel 945G Express che - grazie ad interfacci di banda ampia come memoria Dual Channel DDR2, 1066 MHz FSB, PCI-Express x16 e port PCI, Serial-ATA d'ultima generazione e molti porti USB - conferisce un perfetto rendimento al sistema. Con la tecnologia SilentX si è riuscito che il sistema resti silenzioso durante il funzionamento; requisito indispensabile per poter godere illimitatamente con film e musica.
