Shuttle Inc., the world’s leading designer and manufacturer of Small Form Factor (SFF) PCs and accessories, announced today the release of its Shuttle XPC Barebone SN26P. After winning praise in its technology preview last month, Shuttle has further developed the product to make it compatible with GeForce 7 series cards.
Based on NVIDIA's SLI technology enabling the use of dual video cards, the Shuttle XPC Barebone SN26P is compatible with 7800GT and 7800GTX cards. This chipset offers gaming enthusiasts everything they need: support for the full range of AMD's Socket 939 processors, S-ATA 3GB/s RAID, Gigabit Ethernet with built-in hardware firewall. The Via Envy24PT sound chip delivers 7.1 surround sound. The Shuttle XPC Barebone SN26P is compatible with a number of the most popular GeForce 7 series cards. Unlike the technology preview samples made available earlier with support for 6800 series cards, this model does not come with a heat pipe for the graphics cards, giving customers the flexibility they seek when choosing graphics cards. A complete list of certified cards is available on Shuttle's website.
The Shuttle XPC Barebone SN26P will be available at a Shuttle retailer near you in early October, and has a MSRP of €569 plus VAT. |
