Atractivo, silencioso, con un precio muy ventajoso y con una bahía para unidades de 5,25". La serie K aumenta la creciente gama de modelos de Shuttle con el Barebone K48, idóneo para aplicaciones sencillas, como Internet y programas de Office. Como muchos contenidos se ven reforzados con la red, el Barebone K48 viene provisto de Gigabit LAN para estar conectado siempre a alta velocidad. El WLAN es opcional. El frontal convertible se puede cambiar en un abrir y cerrar de ojos. El Barebone K48 de la serie K de Shuttle es, en muchos aspectos, la elección ideal para aplicaciones sencillas, ya sea para trabajar o para reproducir formatos digitales.
