Computer Idee: "Stylish and small, whisper quiet"

"Shuttle has done anything to make their PCs as small as possible," explains the Dutch computer magazine Computer Idee. And "it surely is very compact," continue the editors. Designed to appeal to anyone who is looking for a tiny PC to manage home and office applications, the Shuttle XPC mini X 100 features a Core Duo processor, ATI Radeon X1400 integrated graphics engine, card reader, dual layer DVD-writer as well as a number of USB and FireWire ports. "It manages office applications and other basic tasks without a hitch, even minor graphics applications are possible," writes Computer Idee.

	Conclusion: "If you are looking for a small and low-noise PC for everyday tasks such as office applications, internet and email, the Shuttle XPC mini X 100 manages without further ado."

To carry a lot of data, the Shuttle XPC mini X 100 is equipped with a 200GB standard hard disk which is "very large and offer enough disk space for a good pile of movies, music and other media files," according to the editors.

As a PC designed to live in the home environment, the Shuttle XPC mini X 100's is as one would have expected - "whisper quiet."

But there is even more offered. "If you wish you can easily configure the X 100 with the components of your choice, with for example another processor, more memory and a larger hard disk," explains Computer Idee what is possible in the Shuttle Systems Configurator.
