The world’s first eSport clubhouse is equipped with Shuttle XPC
Pros from n!faculty train on Shuttle Mini-PC Complete Systems
The German club Top-Clans n!faculty e.V. finally achieved its long-cherished dream of the birth of the world’s first eSports clubhouse on 6 August 2008. It has now been opened in the media city of Köln (Cologne). Shuttle supported n!faculty as part of a partnership with 20 high-end Mini-PCs.
After a planning and construction phase lasting a year, n!faculty e.V. celebrated the opening of the clubhouse for eSports practitioners in Mülheimer Platz. Köln provided the club with the ideal premises to be able to offer a central point of reference for its professional and club teams plus also fans and friends of the club.
About 100 guests were invited to the opening ceremony including colleagues from the eSport scene, press representatives and sponsors. Influential politicians such as the Mayor of the city of Köln, Fritz Schramma and the Minister for Federal Affairs, Europe and Media from the Federal State of North-Rhine Westphalia, Andreas Krautscheid did not want to miss the opportunity of inaugurating the clubhouse in person.
As a partner des n!faculty e.V. Shuttle made 20 fully-equipped XPC P2 3500G Complete Systems available to the clubhouse. These devices are used to run training games, strategy analyses, press training courses and explanatory seminars for parents.
“Against the backdrop of criticism of some games genres, it was in particular the club’s commitment against violence that was a crucial factor for the cooperative partnership" said Tom Seiffert, Head of Marketing & PR at Shuttle Computer Handels GmbH.
As official partner to n!faculty e.V. Shuttle congratulates n!faculty e.V. on the successful opening and wishes it all the best for the future.
