Shuttle XPC Barebone SD37P2: The fastest SFF PC

First SFF PC for Intel Conroe processors

Shuttle Inc. world wide leading designer and maker of Small Form Factor (SFF) PCs and accessories today introduces the Shuttle XPC Barebone SD37P2 which is the first SFF PC for Intel's Conroe processors also supporting any current Intel processors.

"The Shuttle XPC Barebone SD37P2 joins our product line as our latest high end model," explains Melanie Liu, Head of Marketing of Shuttle Computer Handels GmbH. The latest SFF PC is built around the advanced P2-chassis measuring 32.5 x 22 x 21 cm with a case made of high-quality aluminium. Apart from appealing looks, the Shuttle XPC Barebone SD37P2 impresses with an improved interior. The new P2 series can take up to four memory modules managing a maximum capacity of 8 Gigabyte of RAM. Ten USB 2.0 ports (2x front, 6x rear, 2x internal) are available to connect all your peripherals while the case provides room for up to three hard disks. Two PCI-Express interfaces allow Crossfire operation with two ATI graphics cards making the Shuttle XPC Barebone SD37P2 probably the most powerful SFF PC ever that should even have only a small number of serious big-tower-competitiors.

The Shuttle XPC Barebone SD37P2 will be available in the third quarter of 2006 carrying a RRP of 419 Euros net.

Shuttle XPC Barebone SD37P2 Review:

"The SD37P2 really is a masterpiece of high-end performance"
"Multimedia benchmarks were just awesome," praise the editors of Germany's biggest SFF PC community Barebonecenter.de. According to the editors the Shuttle XPC Barebone SD37P2 with Intel Core2 Duo processor was five times faster than a Pentium D 820. Incredible! "We couldn't believe our software at the first time. So we repeated the benches at least eight times and double-checked with other tools," explained the editors. But it was true. The Shuttle XPC Barebone SD37P2 is the new performance winner.
