I can't open the drive door of the external 3,5 inch bay of my Shuttle XPC Barebone SN26P. Why?

As a result of these changes made to the chassis (compared to other chassis of the P-series) the Shuttle XPC Barebone SN26P can only take up to two and not three hard disks.

The Shuttle XPC Barebone SN26P supports two graphics cards in SLI mode. Due to a higher heat emmission, enlarging the cooling zones of the case was necessary. As a result of these changes made to the chassis (compared to other chassis of the P-series) the Shuttle XPC Barebone SN26P can only take up to two and not three hard disks. The main hard disk is to be mounted in the 3,5 inch drive bay, so that this bay is occupied by the hard disk only. From its factory state the drive door of the 3,5 inch bay is fixed permanently and cannot be opened. The optional second hard disk is to be mounted across at the upper front of the case, while the upper rear side has to remain empty.
