Overview of the DH310 XPC slim model series
Shuttle offers a broad array of mid-range models with the Intel H310 chipset in a 1-litre format and provides the perfect platform to suit almost any requirement. These models are noted primarily for their compactness, the fact that they support Intel processors of the 8th and 9th generation, their connectivity and quiet running.
The first one, launched back in August 2018, is the DH310, which supports, besides the above-mentioned processors, up to 32 GB of memory, HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort. It accommodates a 2.5-inch drive and M.2-2280 drive, also features a card reader, eight USB ports, 2x Gigabit-LAN, audio, 2x COM ports and offers the option of installing a WLAN module, for example, in the M.2-2230 slot.
The successor to this model, the DH310V2, launches in June 2019 and features a revised chipset requiring different drivers and also impresses with a new look. However, there are no changes from a technical point of view.
The DH310S is a different story. This model caters for the value sector and has a slightly cheaper price. Like the DH310V2, the DH310S also comes with a new chassis design, but foregoes one of the two Gigabit LAN connections as well as both COM ports and HDMI 2.0, yet offers 1x USB-C on the front.
This overview highlights the differences at a glance.
