Le système est basé sur le Shuttle XPC Barebone SD37P2 au design élégant, proposant de nombreuses possibilités de connexions ainsi que les derniers chipsets et composants intégrés. Le coeur du PC est un processeur Intel® Core™2 Extreme Processor X6800 – actuellement l'un des processeurs les plus rapides du marché. Pour accélérer le traitement des données, 4 Gigabytes de mémoire vive takeMS (Modèle BD1024TEC910) y sont intégrés. Aucun compromis n'a été fait sur la carte graphique pour laquelle il n'existe pas d'équivalent en termes de performances puisque Shuttle y intègre une Nvidia GeForce 7950GX2. Le disque dur Samsung SpinPoint T Series HD400LJ de 400GB fourni assez de place pour le stockage de données, programmes, photos etc. Un graveur Shuttle CR40 x16 permet également de pouvoir sauver les données en externe. La lecture des cartes mémoire est assurée par un lecteur de cartes 22-en-1.

The most recent addition to the XPC family is the fully-configured Shuttle XPC P2 3700G that is supposed to "fit the bill perfectly." The editors of the British computer magazine PC World had a closer look at the unit and saw if it lives up to its promises.
