Größe allein ist nichts! Im Verhältnis zu anderen PCs erscheint der LAN-Spiele-PC winzig. In puncto Leistung ist er aber ein ganz Großer.

Conclusion: Well this has been our first every Shuttle XPC system we have personally been privileged to test and I must say I was beyond impressed. I have seen many reviews of this unit and thought that it was a good contender, but having it in your hands to test gives you a better prospective.
While cramped, Shuttle has allowed plenty of space for CPU cooler, memory modules, Hard Disk, Floppy Disk and optical drives with enough room for easy placement of cables. (...) Performance wise with onboard graphics, fantastic compared to original nForce systems, with external graphics, just as good as a custom built system.
In all, this is one PC that is beyond words that I can express to give my praise for this unit.

Fazit: Dies ist unser allererstes Shuttle XPC-System gewesen, das wir persönlich testen durften, und ich muß sagen: ich war überaus beeindruckt. Ich habe viele Testberichte über dieses Teil gesehen und dachte, daß es ein guter Kandidat wäre, aber wenn man es selbst in den Händen hält, wirkt es noch interessanter.
Trotz der Enge hat Shuttle noch eine Menge Platz für den CPU-Kühler, Speicher-Module, Festplatte, Disketten-Laufwerk und optische Laufwerke vorgesehen mit genug Raum für die einfache Bestückung mit Kabeln. (...) Die Performance der onboard-Grafik ist fantastisch im Vergleich mit originalen nForce-Systemen und mit externer Grafik ist es genauso gut wie ein selbstgebautes System.
Alles zusammengenommen kann ich gar nicht in Worte kleiden wie toll ich dieses Teil finde.

Fazit: Barebones geniessen in der letzen Zeit hohe Popularität. In vielen Fällen ist dieses kleine Produkt ein idealer PC. Weil viele Komponenten bereits auf dem Mainboard integriert sind, braucht der Endbenutzer nur wenige Teile hinzufügen. Üblicherweise ist die 3D-Performance der onboard Grafikfunktion nur mäßig. Das hier getestete Barebone-System Shuttle XPC SN41G2 basiert aber auf dem nForce2 Chipsatz und bietet deshalb etwas extra 3D Power. Für diejenige die noch mehr 3D-Performance haben möchten, gibt es die Möglichkeit, eine andere Grafikkarte einzustecken. Der Shuttle XPC SN41G2 hat mit dem früher getesteten Shuttle Barebones sehr viel Ähnlichkeiten. Echte Minuspunkten hat das Produkt nicht (...)
