Computer Shopper: "Perfectly suitable for most computer tasks"
The editors of the British computer magazine Computer Shopper seemed to expect something larger, as they first looked on the Shuttle XPC mini X 100HA. But the dimensions, silence and upgradability of this dwarf convinced the editors.
The team of Computer Shopper was impressed how small the Shuttle XPC mini X 100HA is, as it "takes up less space and is perfectly suitable for most computing tasks." And if this wasn't enough, you will be happy to hear that it also "can be stored vertically." Being designed as a PC for the office or the living room the Shuttle XPC mini X 100HA is "whisper-quiet in operation." It is even "small and quiet enough to act as a media centre PC," state Computer Shopper.
Given this small size, the specs and upgradability of the Shuttle XPC mini X 100HA are impressive, and "Shuttle has managed to squeeze in a dual-core processor, Intel's Core Duo T2050," say Computer Shopper. "Thankfully, adding extra RAM to the 100HA is much easier than with other compact PCs," add the editors. The generous 200GB hard disk inside "can be easily replaced with a larger model." Also, "a handy memory card reader is present."
