Bios Update History for Mainboard HOT-579
=========================================

Attention:

This Bios-Update is designed for HOT-579 Mainboards with 
SST, Winbond or Atmel Flash EPROMs, only.
Please don't update Intel or MX Flash EPROMs.
(Please remove the AWARD-bios-label and check the manufacturer
of the flash EPROM)
We are not liable for any damages caused by the bios-update.

1) Check programming voltage of EEPROM
   JP17 2-3: 12V (Intel -i- and MX Chips)
   JP17 1-2: 5V  (generally: others than Intel chips)
2) Do not load any memory manager.
3) Start DOS and execute: Flash533 <BIOS file>
4) After programming, turn off your system for a moment.

Dieses Bios-Update ist nur für HOT-579 Mainboards gedacht,
die mit einem SST, Winbond oder ATMEL Flash-EPROM ausgestattet
sind. Das Flash-Update darf nicht durchgeführt werden, falls
ein Intel (i) oder MX Flash-EPROM bestückt ist. Zur Feststellung
des Herstellertyps entferne man den AWARD-Aufkleber vom Bios-
EPROM.
