Throughout every test and configuration we tried with the HOT-649A, it exhibited the utmost stability. We had EIDE and SCSI 2 peacefully co-existing as well as a heavily overclocked bus. I am also very impressed with the general construction of this board ... I liked this board so much that it is staying in my personal system ...

Great job done here Shuttle!

Needless to say, the features included are very very nice. (...) The HOT-649A is the first Dual processor mainboard to be given the "Overclocker's Choice" designation by Hardware Extreme, too.

The HOT-649A is a very solid and dependable motherboard with some excellent high-end features. ... Overclockers should be very pleased with the separate core voltage adjustments on each CPU slot, as well as the maximum 150MHz bus and three well placed thermistors ... The HOT-649A is very well priced. Other dual boards with onboard SCSI go for much more.

The HOT-649A is worth every penny!

This definitely has to be the dual CPU board for overclockers and tweakers. With it's excellent stability, compatibility, numerous FSB choices, and wealth of features including Ultra2Wide SCSI, 1GB RAM support, and voltage adjustment, what more can you ask for from one board?

This board is great if your looking for a board that supports Dual PIII's (...) Onboard SCSI, useful if you plan on making the move to SCSI.
